1. Overview
This Shipping Policy describes how Fortune Optical – Cracia Lens Division processes, manufactures, and ships orders placed on www.cracia.in. Because every pair of lenses is custom-manufactured to the prescription and specifications submitted by the customer, dispatch timelines differ from standard ready-to-ship retail products.
2. Order Processing Time
- Standard Single Vision lenses: manufactured and dispatched within 2–4 business days of order confirmation.
- Progressive and Bifocal lenses: manufactured and dispatched within 4–7 business days of order confirmation, owing to the additional precision surfacing process involved.
- Lenses with specialised coatings (e.g., photochromic, Super Hard Multi-Coating variants) may require an additional 1–2 business days.
- Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays will begin processing on the next business day.
Processing time refers to manufacturing and quality-check duration and is separate from courier transit time.
3. Shipping Partners and Delivery Timelines
We ship Products across India through reputed logistics partners integrated with our order management system. Estimated delivery timelines following dispatch are as follows:
- Metro cities: 2–4 business days from dispatch.
- Non-metro cities and towns: 4–7 business days from dispatch.
- Remote or non-serviceable pin codes: additional time may be required; you will be notified if your location falls outside our standard serviceable network.
Total estimated delivery time is therefore the sum of manufacturing time and courier transit time, typically ranging between 5 to 12 business days depending on the Product and destination.
4. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges, if applicable, will be clearly displayed at checkout prior to payment. We may offer free shipping on orders above a specified value or during promotional periods, as communicated on the Platform from time to time.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation via email and/or SMS containing your tracking number and a link to track your shipment in real time. You may also view your order status by logging into your account under “My Orders”.
6. Delivery Attempts and Address Accuracy
- Please ensure that the shipping address, pin code, and contact number provided at checkout are accurate and complete. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information.
- Our courier partners typically make up to three delivery attempts. If delivery cannot be completed after these attempts, the shipment may be returned to us, and you will be contacted to arrange re-shipment, which may involve additional shipping charges.
- A valid signature or OTP confirmation may be required at the time of delivery for certain orders.
7. Delays Beyond Our Control
While we make every effort to honour estimated timelines, delivery may occasionally be delayed due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, strikes, regulatory restrictions, courier network disruptions, or other force majeure events. We will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed in such cases.
8. Damaged or Tampered Shipments
We recommend that you inspect your package at the time of delivery. If the outer packaging appears damaged or tampered with, please refuse the delivery or record the issue with the delivery agent, and contact our support team within 48 hours with photographic evidence, so that we may investigate and assist you promptly.
9. International Shipping
At present, Cracia ships only within India. We do not offer international shipping through the Platform at this time. Any future expansion of our shipping network will be communicated on the Platform.
